The four islands

In this order — the cave first, while the tide is right

Emerald Cave, Koh Mook, Trang
10:30 · The one people come for

1. Emerald Cave, Koh Mook

You swim through a dark tunnel in the cliff and come out on a hidden beach ringed by jungle walls, open only to the sky. Non-swimmers are fine — everyone wears a life jacket and the guide pulls you through on a rope.

White sand and clear water at Koh Kradan
12:00 · Lunch & beach time

2. Koh Kradan

White sand, water clear enough to see your feet, and a living reef right off the beach. Buffet lunch is served on the boat here, then you have time to swim, snorkel and take photos.

Snorkelling at Koh Cheuak, Trang
13:30 · Best snorkelling stop

3. Koh Cheuak

Big schools of fish around the rock — this is the stop children talk about afterwards, because there are simply so many fish. Snorkelling gear is provided.

Clear turquoise water at Koh Waen, Trang
14:30 · Last stop

4. Koh Waen

Anemone gardens with clownfish living in them — an easy, gentle snorkel to end the day before the boat turns back for Pak Meng.

Getting here

Most of our Malaysian guests drive up through Hat Yai

FromDistanceDriving time
Hat Yai187 km~3 hrs
Satun220 km~3.5 hrs

Trang town, where most guests stay the night before, is 35–40 km from the pier.

Stay in Trang town the night before, not at the pier. Pak Meng is very quiet after dark and has no convenience store. Trang town has plenty of restaurants and shops, and the famous Trang dim sum shops open from 5am. Our shuttle collects you from your Trang town hotel at 08:00 for 300 THB per person, so you never have to drive the last 40 km yourself.
Coming as a group? We arrange private charters — long-tail boats, tour boats and speedboats — for families, schools, companies and tour agents, with a written quotation. Message us your group size and date.

Questions we get asked

Anything else, just message us

What exactly does 1,150 THB cover?

The boat and guide for the whole day, halal buffet lunch on board, snorkelling gear, a life jacket, drinking water, ice and fruit, Trang coffee and cake, accident insurance, free underwater photos, and the 200 THB national park entry fee that foreign visitors have to pay. Children under 3 travel free — message us for the child rate.

I can't swim. Can I still go into the Emerald Cave?

Yes, and plenty of our guests can't. Every passenger wears a life jacket, and the guide takes you through the dark part of the tunnel holding a rope, so you are pulled along rather than swimming. Tell us at check-in and a guide will stay with you.

Is it suitable for children and older parents?

Yes. Koh Cheuak and Koh Waen are shallow and calm, and children love them because there are so many fish. Anyone who prefers to stay dry can sit on the boat and watch — it is shaded and comfortable.

Is the food halal?

Yes. The buffet lunch is halal and cooked by Muslim cooks. Over 90% of the island communities around the Trang sea are Muslim, so halal cooking is the local norm here rather than a special arrangement.

When are the islands open?

Tours run 1 October to 31 May. The islands close every year from 1 August to 30 September for the monsoon, and no tours operate in that period.

What happens if the sea is too rough?

If the Marine Department suspends sailing or a storm comes in, we refund your deposit in full. Our team contacts you before the trip if anything changes.

How do I pay?

Message us on WhatsApp or LINE and our team will confirm your date, tell you the exact total for your group, and arrange payment with you. Once it is confirmed we send your booking details and the pier location.

Do you take large groups and issue invoices?

Yes. We handle schools, universities, companies, government departments and tour agents, and we issue written quotations and receipts. Send us your group size, travel date and what you need, and our team will put a quotation together.
